Connect to the VPN

Connect to any preferred location using the Surfshark app that will most likely work with your IPTV provider. This can also help you overcome ISP throttling. Since a VPN hides your IP and encrypts your traffic, your ISP can't see what you are doing and, as a result, cannot throttle your connection based on your activity.

Accessing IPTV

If you are experiencing issues, please try the following suggestions:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the IPTV application while connected to the VPN;
  • Try connecting to several different locations in our application e.g., UK, US, France, Italy;
  • Change the default protocol in Surfshark settings. Go to the Settings window, click on VPN Settings, and go to the Protocol tab. Try different protocols – OpenVPN/UDP and OpenVPN/TCP.
