How to reinstall the Surfshark application on Windows

In this tutorial, you will learn how to reinstall the Surfshark application on your Windows device. 

To proceed, you need to have the Surfshark app installed.

Check out the following steps:

  1. Press Start or the Windows button on your keyboard, type in Control Panel, and open it.
  2. In the Control Panel, click on Uninstall a program under the Programs tab.


  3. You will then see a list of all the applications that are on your device. Find the Surfshark application.


  4. Right-click on Surfshark and select Uninstall/Change.


  5. A new window will pop up. Click Next and proceed with the setup steps.


    NOTE: If you have an older version of Surfshark installed, you may also be able to see Surfshark TUN and TAP adapters. If that is the case, make sure to uninstall them too.
  6. When the setup finishes, reboot your device as well.

  7. Then, proceed to download and install the Surfshark application once more from the Surfshark VPN for Windows download page.
