How to configure custom DNS on an Android device

In this article, you will learn how to change, ad, or remove the DNS settings on your Android.

Follow these steps to set custom DNS on an Android:

  1. Open Settings on your Android device, and select Network & internet.

  2. Then, tap on Wi-Fi.

  3. Tap the Cogwheel icon next to the network you are connected to.

  4. Tap on the Edit button at the top right corner.

  5. Tap Advanced options. At the bottom, click on IP settings and select Static.

  6. Enter the following DNS addresses into the two DNS boxes at the bottom of the window, and click Save.

    DNS 1: 162.252.172.57
    DNS 2: 149.154.159.92
